Why Live on Campus?
Convenience
Our residence halls and apartments are located on or adjacent to our campuses. As a student, you will have the convenience of living where you study, in a community-learning environment. You also won't have to shovel the walkway, catch a ride to campus, try to get your landlord on the phone, or dial up to get UB internet. Maintenance service, campus shuttles, in-room internet and cable, and professional staff are all available on-site to help you.
Value
You will find The University at Buffalo's housing to be comfortable and welcoming. We have designed our housing to meet the needs of our students. That is why you'll find quiet places to study, computer centers, and lounges right in your residence hall or apartment complex. Most of our housing is all-inclusive, this means you will not have to worry about utility bills, cable hook up, repairs, furniture, or even the cost of laundry—it's all included. Flickinger Court is the only complex with separate utility billing and unfurnished apartments.
Experience
You may be seeking the ultimate college experience, and we believe that you will find it by living on campus. Join your hall council, have late night study groups in the lounge, and go out to dinner or the movies with your community members. Living on campus extends the learning experience beyond the classroom, and students who live on campus do better in college as a group than those who live off-campus.
